John 6:
The Law of Life
Because life always triumphs.
Sometimes God puts us in low places to be agents of redemption, but sometimes we let the low place mentality get in us.
The law of life always triumphs over death.
Jesus is speaking to people who've lost a lot.
It was the sick who were following Jesus.
They were seeing the sick getting healed.
Jesus is surrounded by people with needs.
And He's meeting those needs.
Jesus took what He had, gave thanks to God, and God multiplied it.
Jesus starts talking to them about Passover.
Passover was one of the darkest times in the nation of Egypt.
Moses said tell your children the angel of death passed over us.
Remember communion, remember what it means.
The people Jesus is speaking to have already forgotten what Passover means.
To them it is just a feast.
Today if you don't eat the Lamb you wont have the experience of life.
Jesus is the door and you've got to come through the door.
Exodus 12 - the whole land cried when their first born died.
God has the power to give life and sustain you through the darkest times.
We cannot live by bread alone.
Life has the power to triumph over dark situations.
Jesus was saying you've been eating the lamb and you don't even know what it means; and now The Lamb is right in front of you.
John 6:31
He goes from Passover to the Wilderness.
A dessert has no power to sustain life.
It has the power to kill you.
Very few animals can survive in the desert.
Vs. 31
Passover = God has the power to bring life in the darkest season.
Exodus 14:10-12
The Israelites knew the desert was going to kill them.
Have you ever felt like theres no way out?
They said to Moses why did you bring us out of Egypt?
To die in the wilderness?
There will be seasons in your life when you'll feel the entrapment of God.
Having done all - standing.
The Red Sea isn't parting.
God's trying to deal with a mindset.
The mindset must be fixed.
If Pharaoh's chasing you then you can let the wilderness get to you.
Isaiah 35:6-7 NIV
Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.
The waters will break forth in the wilderness
Maybe God has put you in position so He can say STAND STILL AND SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD.
Are you in a dry place?
Remember I fed your fathers in a dry place.
I gave them manna from heaven.
John 6:
The desert had the power to kill them, yet they triumphed over death.
Fernando likes his manna in increments of 6 months ahead.
So he can plan a better world.
But God's way: they had to bow low to get the manna.
Humble your hearts and obey Me.
I don't care what situation you're in - I'll bring life to it.
If you try to stash the manna it'll get worms.
If we don't see that God has the power to turn a desert into a water pool...
He can turn your desert into a place of abundance but your mindset has to be in the right place.
During adversity you find out whats inside of you.
When God entrapped His people you find out what came out of them.
You need to know if your mindset is in the right place.

Many disciples said this is difficult; we cant follow you anymore.
The laws of the kingdom are opposite of the world
If you want more than bless what you have
Vs 62 its the spirit who gives life
They don't realize Jesus has the power to change the atmosphere.
Where's your mindset when you're going through adversity?
Depending upon your age, mindset, religious upbringing - you have the power to beat yourself so low you cannot hear God.
Can you just get over you for just a moment and say God why do You have me here?
Some things don't make sense.
But in that season God still owns my journey.
The wilderness can be turned into a place of refreshment.
My mindset wants to abide in something that's not good.
Pastor Bob had to have arteries flushed.
Pastor Fernando's blood pressure rose and he thought God is this it?
Our mindset can go to the wrong place real quickly.
The word shall live is spoken 4 times over 22 times in one chapter the word life is spoken.
Death is spoken only once.
God is trying to change the mindset.
Romans 8
Life needs to dominate what we do.
We do things because life demands those things because we have a destiny.
Because we believe in the cause of God.
Because we believe no weapon formed against us will prosper.
Read John 6 for yourself.
The mind that is set on the flesh is death...
The mind that is set on the spirit is life and peace.
Vs 8 those in the flesh cannot please God.
No matter how bad it looks God wants to dominate you with life.
No matter how scorched the land God wants to saturate it with life.
1. Eat fresh manna
2. We must be obedient to God
The journey where God was taking the required a new mindset.
He has the power to turn a desert into a water pool.
John 6
